BUSINESS LICENSES

Domestic and foreign companies and firms starting a new business in Afghanistan need a business license from the Directorate General of Central Business Registry & Intellectual Property of Afghanistan Ministry of Commerce and Industries. Sector based companies operating in certain industries need to obtain an additional license from the responsible ministry after submitting an application for the Central Business Registry & Intellectual Property license. In addition, NGOs need to have licenses from the Ministry of Economy in order to operate legally in Afghanistan.

Although, the process to obtain necessary license seems explicit and direct, practical knowledge of the customs and practices of various agencies and offices are necessary to ensure your business is registered and licensed properly and in a timely and efficient manner. VISA & WORK PERMIT
